And the Inquisitor Lays Down the Hammer

Well, I was late to the show on Saturday, but I still managed to get in a game of Malifaux and some after hours Deathwatch and Dark Heresy. Other systems making appearances included Warhammer Fantasy, Bolt Action, and Warhammer 40K. Basically, the scene is hopping. So, where were you?

See you down there next weekend!

Iron Man Painting Challenge RETURNS!

Well, its that time of year again!

Break out your brushes and paint pots, caffeinate yourself to an inadvisable degree, and get ready to throw down in the most grueling painting event EVAR!

IRON MAN PAINTING CHALLENGE is our twice-yearly, pre-convention painting pow-wow. That's a lot of hyphens.

Join us Saturday, February 9th at 11:00 am, and paint all day, and all night, and far into the next day IF YOU ARE IRON MAN ENOUGH!

This a great opportunity to just sit down and grind out all of those minis you've been meaning to get finished, while enjoying good company and eating terrible junk food.

Refreshments will be provided, and wimps will be mocked.

I MIGHT paint some Dark Eldar.  But probably not.

Demo Days!

Starting January 12, 2013, the Knights of the Gaming Table will be hosting monthly demo days. These will be a good opportunity for new players and those kind of interested to get the low down and try out many of the games we all play and love on Saturdays. Games like Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy, Malifaux, Hordes and Warmachine, and Infinity. All games will be small, and can take as little or as long as you like.

The event will start around 2PM and run till around 5PM, in the hall in front of Hobby Town USA. Drop on by, and give one of these great games a try.

Knights' Chronicles

Pretty exciting weekend down in the hole. Even with all the new space, we ran out of room! We had everything from Infinity to Fantasy to 40K to Malifaux. People painting, people playing, people discussing tactics and eating food stuffs.

It was way more fun than this would make it appear. He isjust concentrating.

Who are all these people? Well, those are the Pathfinder Society peeps, who got the boot from Gryphon's due to some over booking. Glad to have 'em. Rowdy bunch, too.

Painting and Malifaux festivities didn't wrap up until 3:30 in the AM. Talk about rocking it all night long. I am definitely looking forward to next week. I plan to throw down some Malifaux(shocker) and even some Fantasy(say what?) before heading deep into the 41st Millennium for some Deathwatch/Dark Heresy. Hope to see you all there!

Gaming is back!

The dice were rolling today. Even without extended gaming, the place was hopping. I showed up late, around 3:30, but there were two games of Fantasy going and a four player game of 40K. In the past couple weeks gaming has really returned, with all kinds of people, both new and old, but a lot of new, showing up and grabbing a pick up game.
Next week will be the Feast of Blades, which I am apparently running. That will likely take a few tables, but hopefully we will still have room for some open tables. I plan to do set up and will do what I can to set a table aside for just that. Also, though the event will come first, I would also be willing to throw down, provided my opponent realizes I will be eyes on the tournament.
The next few weeks look to be busy, with the top two players going on to the Feast of Blades final, a new Warmachine/Hordes league starting, and a new site and forum to give a run through the ringer. Please, don't be discouraged by the new league, as I know the last one(Fantasy) took over the club and the play area. I will not be participating as a player, though I might be helping to run things, and will be devoting my time to 40k and Fantasy, and if things go right some Malifaux.
So, drop by, get a game, beat me into submission.
Oh, and the Tau are back, baby!

CW, rollin' dice.
